The Bengal Tiger: A Majestic and Endangered Species

     The Bengal tiger, also known as the Royal Bengal tiger, is a subspecies of the tiger native to the Indian subcontinent. With its striking orange fur, black stripes, and piercing eyes, the Bengal tiger is one of the most recognizable and magnificent animals in the world. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most endangered species, with only an estimated 2,500 individuals remaining in the wild.      Bengal tigers are apex predators, meaning that they are at the top of the food chain and have no natural predators. They are solitary animals that roam large territories in search of prey, which primarily consists of large mammals such as deer, wild pigs, and buffalos.
